Start with a support for the clay, an armature, then work the clay onto it.<\/p>\n<p>The head is left to dry out very slowly over a few weeks to avoid cracking.<br data-rich-text-line-break=\"true\" \/>Then it will be fired in a kiln up to 1200c\u00a0 , a process that takes up to three days.<br data-rich-text-line-break=\"true\" \/>If the head has survived that process without cracking , it will be sent to a foundry to be cast into bronze resin.
